Don was a phenomenal realtor whom I would highly recommend, as he went above and beyond to assist my mom and I with the sale of our house. Our house hadn't been lived in for almost 15 years, as our family was living in another location. However, my mom started getting notices from the HOA that the front yard grass was all brown with weeds and needed to get taken care of. Not only did Don advocate on my mother’s behalf to prevent a property lien from going into effect, Don also completely revitalized the condition of the front yard himself and designed a gorgeous rock landscape for a nice curb appeal. Due to the declining state of our house, Don also arranged to take care of countless repairs and renovations inside the house with his contractor. Don got the window company to replace defected windows under warranty, accompanied me to local carpet companies to find the best deal to replace our carpet, and oversaw these matters in a timely manner. 
In addition, Don helped us donate furniture to local charities, arranged for the sale of larger items such as our grand piano, coordinated remaining furniture giveaways among our friends and family, and got many dumpsters delivered to our house so we could clean out remaining, unwanted items. Prior to putting the house on the market, Don painted portions of the exterior and solicited help with rearranging the interior decor in an aesthetically-pleasing manner for his photographic images to look just right for his marketing. His custom brochures that were handed out looked very nice and presentable, which no doubt played a role in garnering greater exposure for the house. Don diligently held Open Houses every weekend until it sold, and tirelessly kept the house in a safe and secure condition throughout the work week. Don kept in touch with me every step of the way, and his transparency, reliability, and responsiveness made the sale and escrow processes much less daunting for a first-time seller such as myself. Don is one of the most hard-working, dependable realtors you can trust with the sale of your home.

We were looking to move from our two-story home to a single-story home and had been using online realtor services to conduct our search. We went to many open houses over an 8-month period and met many agents wanting to work with us. There were several agents that we gave our information and requirements to, but that just led to an avalanche of emails for houses that did not even meet our basic requirements of single story and three bedrooms. It was at yet another open house that we met Don Darrock. He also offered to help us look for a home and although we had not had good results with the previous agents’ efforts, Don seemed to take a bigger interest in what we were looking for, so we gave it another try. The difference between the other agents and Don was immediately obvious just in the houses he emailed to us. The houses met our criteria and came directly form Don, not some automated search program. It did not take Don very long before he found the perfect house for us. During the purchase and escrow process Don was always on top of things and we always felt like he was taking a personal interest in making sure everything went smoothly. If we had ANY questions, anything from what extra tax assessments there may be, to locating a place to store our trailer, he would find the answer. He even helped us unload moving boxes while doing our final walk through! On top of being very good at his job he is also a great person and has continued to be in contact with us after the sale. He took photos of our old house to post online for our rental ad (he is a photographer) and has given us input on renting it out. We were very impressed with Don and would highly recommend him to anyone looking to buy or sell a house. We will be using him again for any future real estate needs.
